EG Consultancy is responsible for the personal information collected through this website. For questions or requests about your information, use the enquiry form.

What I collect and why

The enquiry form collects your name, email address and message, plus your phone number and project area if you choose to provide them. Please do not include personal information about children, health information or confidential case details.

I use this information to answer your enquiry, assess whether I can help, arrange a conversation and keep a record of our correspondence. Where you are considering engaging me personally, this is to take steps at your request before entering a contract. For other business enquiries, I rely on my legitimate interest in responding to requests about my services. I do not add enquirers to a marketing mailing list.

Services used to handle enquiries

This website is hosted through OpenAI Sites and its hosting infrastructure. The form uses FormSubmit to forward your enquiry to my Microsoft Hotmail inbox. FormSubmit states that it keeps submissions for 30 days and uses a spam check which may involve Google reCAPTCHA.

These providers may process information outside the UK. Their privacy information explains their handling of data: FormSubmit, Microsoft, OpenAI and Google.

How long I keep it

For enquiries that do not become an engagement, I keep correspondence for up to 12 months after our last contact, then delete it unless there is a specific reason to retain it, such as resolving a complaint. If we work together, I will explain any different retention arrangements for client records as part of the engagement.

Your choices and rights

You can ask to access or correct your personal information, or request its deletion or restricted use. Depending on the circumstances, you may also have rights to object to processing or receive a portable copy. Contact me using the enquiry form. You can raise a concern with the Information Commissioner’s Office.

I have not added advertising trackers or analytics cookies to this website. The hosting platform may use cookies needed for security or sign-in. If you submit the form, FormSubmit and its spam-check service may use cookies on their own pages.
